An extension of www.allnaturalmomof4.com. Posting Feingold and GFCF recipes. I have one son who does Feingold only, and my other 3 kids and I do GFCF (gluten and dairy free). We also avoid eggs (for one), peanuts, soy, and corn syrup as well. Check out my new e-book, "All Natural Mom's Guide to the Feingold Diet, A Natural Approach to ADHD" available now on Amazon!

Fruit & Nut Cereal Bars
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup peanut butter (JIF or 365 brand)
1/3 cup brown sugar (Domino’s Light Brown Sugar or organic)
3 cups rice krispies cereal (I use Barbara’s or Erewon cereal)
¼ cup raisins
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup dried cherries
1/8 cup almonds or peanuts (optional – I cut the almonds in half)
2 TB sunflower seeds
1 TB flax seeds or ground flax seeds
2 TB sunflower seeds
1 TB flax seeds or ground flax seeds
1. In a large sauce pan combine ½ cup of honey, ½ cup of peanut butter, and 1/3 cup of brown sugar, stirring frequently. Stir on low-medium heat for a couple of minutes.
2. Add the cereal and then all the other ingredients and stir until mixed thoroughly.
3. Pour into a 13 x 9 greased pan (I use Organic Spectrum shortening) and use a spatula to press down.
4. Let cool for 30 minutes before cutting.
Great snack or breakfast on the go. These have a rice krispy taste and texture to them and are very sweet so of course the kids like them. You can make these with any ingredients you want. If you use chocolate, add about ¼ cup of chocolate chips or less. They will melt down completely. If you want them in whole pieces, wait till they cool completely, then push them on to the top.

(Don’t feed this to a baby under 1 as it contains honey and nuts.
Feingold Stage 2 and GFCF if you use Erewhon cereal
